This is where, in a delayed act of teenage rebellion, I pierced my upper lip. I think it’s called a “Monroe.” My dad paid me to remove it, but I still have the scar. Sometimes, after a particularly rough day of conformity at my office job last year, I used to silently swear to re-pierce it.
